About Health Matters
Launched in 1982, Medstar's Health MattersŪ is a weekly half-hour medical news and information series featuring compelling personal stories and interviews with medical experts. Health MattersŪ uses an engaging magazine and talk format to present important information in an easy to understand, viewer-friendly format. The series is composed of 22 episodes, airing one per week, produced locally in your city with medical experts from your locality. The series airs on a local broadcast or cable station with local news talent. Medstar assumes all production responsibilities and delivers the series to the station ready-to-air.
